Mango barfi is a rich, fruity Indian sweet made with ripe mango pulp and milk solids. Smooth, aromatic, and naturally vibrant, it captures the essence of summer in every soft, indulgent bite.
1 cup ripe mango pulp 1½ cups grated khoya (mawa) ½ cup sugar 2 tbsp ghee ¼ tsp cardamom powder Chopped pistachios, for garnish
Heat ghee in a heavy pan and add grated khoya, cooking on low flame till smooth.
Add mango pulp and mix continuously to prevent sticking or lump formation.
Stir in sugar and cook until the mixture thickens and leaves the pan sides.
Add cardamom powder, mixing well for even flavour distribution.
Spread evenly in a greased tray, garnish with pistachios, and set before cutting.
