This summer, why don’t you skip the preservative-laden tubs of ice cream? Make a batch of mango ice cream in just five simple steps, and you’ll keep coming back to it all summer long.
2 ripe mangoes 1 cup heavy cream ½ cup condensed milk Pinch of cardamom powder (optional)
Chop and blend the mangoes with condensed milk till smooth.
Whip heavy cream until fluffy, fold in the mango mixture, and add cardamom powder.
Once well-mixed, churn it, then pour into an airtight container and freeze for 3-4 hours.
Mix the partially frozen ice cream and refreeze till set.
Scoop the homemade mango ice cream and serve.
