A grilled sandwich is a wholesome option to begin your day. It has the goodness from vegetables and good fat from cheese. Can you ask for anything more? Here is a quick recipe.
½ cup bell peppers Bread slices ¼ cup capsicum 1 chopped onion 1 grated carrot ½ grated beetroot (optional) ½ cup boiled corn 1 cup shredded cheese or cheese slices Salt and pepper to taste ½ tsp salt 2 tbsp butter ¼ cup mayonnaise
Take a bowl and toss all the vegetables in it.
Add salt, pepper, red chilli powder, and mayonnaise.
Mix everything together.
Add a layer of this blend on a bread slice. Top it with a cheese slice.
Cover it with another slice of bread and grill in a butter-greased sandwich maker.
Once the bread turns brown and slightly crispy, cut the sandwich in half, and enjoy.
