Make This Easy Protein-Packed Soya Sandwich For Post-Workout Meal Prep

A soya sandwich is a practical vegetarian option for anyone looking to increase plant-based protein intake. Soya granules are rich in complete protein and support muscle recovery after workouts. When paired with whole wheat bread and fresh vegetables, the sandwich provides fibre and sustained energy. It works well for meal prep and stays filling for hours.

Ingredients

1 cup soya granules 1 small onion finely chopped 1 small capsicum finely chopped 1 small carrot grated 1 green chilli finely chopped ½ tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp turmeric ½ tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tbsp oil 4 slices whole wheat bread Green chutney or butter as needed

Step 1

Boil soya granules for five minutes, drain completely and squeeze out excess water.

Step 2

Heat oil, add cumin seeds and sauté onion, capsicum and carrot until softened.

Step 3

Add soya granules, spices and salt and cook until dry and well combined.

Step 4

Spread filling between bread slices and toast lightly before serving.
