Make Street-Style Spicy Gobi Manchurian Without Onion & Garlic At Home

If you’re someone who does not consume onions and garlic during Navratri, this gobi manchurian recipe is perfect for when you’re hungry. Check this recipe out, which is easy and has that typical street-style flavour too.

Ingredients

500gms cauliflower, boiled 1-inch grated ginger 2 tbsp rice flour 2 tbsp plain flour 2 tbsp corn flour 2-3 chopped green chilli 1-2 tsp soya sauce 1-2 tsp chilli sauce 1 pinch of turmeric powder Oil for frying Half of 1 whole capsicum, but chopped A small portion of a whole cabbage, but chopped 1-2 tsp vinegar Salt to taste

Step 1

Take a bowl and put all the flour, add half of the ginger paste, a pinch of turmeric powder and a bit of salt.

Step 2

Mix. Now add the florets. Slowly add a little water at a time and coat the florets.

Step 3

Deep fry all the cauliflowers until they turn golden brown, and keep them aside.

Step 4

Add oil to a pan, add chopped ginger, green chilli, soy and chilli sauce. Sauté for a few seconds. Add capsicum and cabbage, and fry for 2-3 mins.

Step 5

Add a half glass of water and let it boil. In a small bowl, add one spoon of corn flour and a little water, mix them well and add them to the boiling water.

Step 6

When you find a clear texture in the gravy, add the florets and mix them well. Add one spoon of vinegar to it. Serve!
