Dahi Papdi Chaat is a popular Indian street food featuring crispy papdis topped with creamy yoghurt, boiled potatoes, chickpeas, tangy tamarind chutney, and a mix of spices. It's a delightful combination of flavors—crunchy, tangy, spicy, and sweet—perfect for any occasion.
12-15 papdis (crispy flat puris) 1 cup boiled and diced potatoes ½ cup boiled chickpeas 1 cup fresh curd 2 tbsp tamarind chutney 2 tbsp green chutney 1 tsp chaat masala ½ tsp roasted cumin powder ½ tsp red chilli powder 2-3 tbsp sev 2 tbsp coriander leaves 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds Salt
Arrange papdis on a serving plate. Layer with boiled potatoes and chickpeas.
Pour whisked curd evenly over the papdis, ensuring they are well-coated.
Add tamarind chutney and green chutney according to your taste preference.
Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, and a pinch of salt over the chaat.
Garnish with sev, coriander leaves, and pomegranate seeds for a burst of flavour and colour.
Serve fresh to enjoy the perfect balance of crispy, tangy, and spicy flavours.
