Anda Paratha is a delicious and satisfying snack that combines the goodness of whole wheat with a protein-packed egg filling. Perfect for any time of the day, this dish is simple to prepare and loved by all ages. Here's how you can make this delightful snack at home:
2 Cups whole wheat flour A pinch of salt 1 tbsp oil 2 Eggs ¼ cup onions, chopped 1 green chilli, chopped 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped ½ tsp garam masala
In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups whole wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and 1 tbsp oil. Gradually add 1 cup of water, kneading the mixture into a smooth dough. Add more water if necessary. Knead well and set aside.
Divide the dough into equal shape balls. Roll out each ball into a flat disc using a rolling pin. Fold the disc twice to form a triangle, then roll it out again into a triangular sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough.
In a separate bowl, whisk 2 eggs with chopped onions, green chilli, coriander leaves, garam masala, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside.
Heat a tawa and place the rolled dough on it. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. Add a little oil and cook for another minute until lightly browned.
Make a slit in the paratha using a sharp knife and pour in half of the egg mixture. Tilt the paratha to distribute the egg. Flip it and repeat on the other side. Drizzle some more oil on the paratha. Gently press the surface with a spoon and increase the heat. Cook until the paratha is crispy and golden brown.
