Idiyappam is a traditional South Indian dish that is popularly made for festive occasions like Onam. If you want to celebrate the authentic flavours of Kerela, you must try making Idiyappam at home.
2 cups rice flour 1 cup hot water 1/4 teaspoon salt Coconut milk gravy
Mix rice flour, salt, and hot water. Stir to make a soft dough.
Take a small portion of the dough and stuff it into the cylindrical holes of the idiyappam pot.
Press the dough down firmly to ensure it fills the holes evenly.
Boil some water and place the idiyappam pot over it. Steam till it is fluffy.
Remove the pot from the steamer and unmold the noodles. Serve with coconut milk gravy.
