If you need a strong beverage in the morning to kickstart the day, let it be South Indian filter coffee. Prepared in the traditional style, not only does it taste delicious but it also uplifts the mood with the aroma.
¾ cup milk 2 tbsp ground coffee Sugar to taste 1 cup hot water
Let the water come to a boil while you add coffee to the drip filter.
Pour water over the coffee, making sure it does not spill. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
While coffee is filtered, boil milk with sugar.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of filter coffee to the glass and pour milk over it.
Transfer coffee from one glass to another to develop the foam on the top.
Serve the filter coffee in a traditional dabara and enjoy.
