Make South Indian Filter Coffee In 6 Steps

South Indian filter coffee is a hot beverage that caffeine-addicted Indians cannot begin their day without. It is super-easy to make, and you don’t need to work a lot either. If you have the authentic tumbler, here is how you can replicate filter kaapi in your kitchen.

Ingredients

2 tbsp ground coffee 1 cup hot water Sugar to taste 2-3 cups milk

Step 1

Add the coffee to the first layer of the tumbler. It has small holes in it.

Step 2

Press the ground coffee to level it.

Step 3

Pour hot water over the coffee and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4

Heat milk with sugar in a pan.

Step 5

Add two tablespoons of decoction into the glasses and pour hot milk over it.

Step 6

Mix coffee in the dabara set to develop the froth and enjoy.
