South Indian appam is the perfect breakfast to prepare in a jiffy. It is a last-minute dish that tastes delicious and does not require many ingredients to be present in your pantry. Check out this easy guide.

Ingredients

2 cups rava 1 cup curd Salt to taste Water as needed 2 tsp fruit salt 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 cup boiled corn kernels 2 tbsp ghee/ oil

Step 1

Mix rava with curd, salt, and water.

Step 2

Make sure the consistency of the batter is thick.

Step 3

After 10 minutes, sprinkle red chilli powder and add corn.

Step 4

Add fruit salt to the batter and pour it into greased appam moulds.

Step 5

Cover the pan with a lid and let the base turn brown.

Step 6

Flip the round and fluffy appam to cook the other side. Enjoy with chutney or sauce.
