Atta halwa is a traditional Punjabi dessert, that is frequently made in most North Indian households. With minimal ingredients and crunch time, you can whip up atta halwa with this step-by-step recipe.
1 cup atta 1/2 cup ghee 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup water Chopped nuts for garnish
Heat some ghee and add atta. Roast till golden brown and fragrant.
Add sugar and stir well. Gradually mix water and mix till it thickens.
Once the water is absorbed, add the cardamom powder. Turn off the heat.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
