Make Punjabi-Style Pinni For A Traditional Winter Sweet

When you feel the chill of winter hitting you, there’s nothing better than enjoying Punjabi pinni to warm yourself up. The dry fruit-rich Punjabi sweet would just melt in your mouth and also build immunity.

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup ghee 1 cup jaggery ½ cup almonds ¼ cup cashews ¼ cup pistachios 1 tablespoon raisins 1 teaspoon cardamom

Step 1

Heat some ghee and roast atta till golden brown and fragrant.

Step 2

Remove the heat, spread the roasted flour on a plate and let it cool.

Step 3

Once cool, grind the mixture to make a fine powder. Mix in jaggery till well combined.

Step 4

Add chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios, and raisins. Mix well.

Step 5

Once combined, shape the mixture into small balls and enjoy.
