Indo-Chinese cuisine has given birth to many tasty recipes. Nothing beats a good manchurian with your main course. This stuffed paneer manchurian recipe hits all your protein goals and is quite healthy!
¼ cup grated carrots ¼ cup chopped capsicum 2 tbsp spring onions, chopped 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic 1 tsp soy sauce 200g paneer, cubed and slit in the middle ½ cup cornflour ¼ cup maida ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste Tomato ketchup, as needed 1 tbsp red chilli sauce ½ tsp vinegar Water, as needed Oil, as needed
In a bowl, combine the carrots, capsicum, spring onions, garlic, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and pepper to make the stuffing.
Fill the paneer with the vegetable stuffing after carefully slicing each piece of paneer.
To make a thick, smooth batter, combine cornflour, maida, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and water.
Fry the paneer by dipping it in batter and then deep-frying it until it turns golden and crisp. Set aside.
To make the sauce base, heat the oil and cook the onion, capsicum, ginger, and garlic until they are just beginning to soften.
Add sauces: Add water, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and chilli sauce. Cook until glossy after adding the cornflour slurry.
Add the fried paneer and gently toss to coat, then serve. Serve hot, garnished with spring onions.
