Morning meals should be packed with nutrients and carbs so they energise your body for the long day ahead. Whether you work from home or visit the office every day, you need a protein-packed breakfast like an egg paratha to instantly refuel your body with lots of energy. Here is how to make it.
2 eggs 1 chopped green chilli Atta dough ¼ tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp coriander leaves Oil as needed Salt to taste ¼ tsp black pepper ½ chopped onion (optional)
Let the atta dough thaw if you have kept it overnight in the refrigerator. You can also knead fresh dough.
Roll a small amount of dough into a large paratha and roast it in a skillet.
Meanwhile, beat eggs in a bowl along with onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, red chilli powder, and pepper.
When one side of the paratha is roasted, flip it over. Pour whisked eggs on the top, and cover the pan with a lid.
After 2 minutes, flip over egg paratha. It will be slightly messy but you can gather the egg splashes across the pan.
Serve the paratha with fresh juice, coffee, and tea on the side.
