This creamy pink sauce pasta blends the richness of white sauce with the tang of tomato sauce. It’s a comforting Italian-inspired dish that’s both flavorful and visually stunning, perfect for lunch or dinner.
2 cups penne or fusilli pasta 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp olive oil 1 cup tomato puree ½ cup fresh cream 2 tbsp grated cheese 3 chopped cloves of garlic 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp mixed herbs Salt to taste
Cook pasta as per packet instructions, drain, and set aside.
Heat butter and oil in a pan, and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add tomato puree, chilli flakes, and herbs; cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in cream and cheese, mixing well to form the pink sauce.
Add cooked pasta, toss well, and serve hot with extra cheese.
