Khow suey is a Burmese noodle soup rich in flavour, featuring tender chicken, creamy coconut milk, and a variety of toppings. Follow these simple steps to whip this up, right from your kitchen.
3 tablespoons oil 1 bay leaf 5-6 black peppercorns 1 teaspoon cumin seeds ¼ cup onions 1 tablespoon garlic 2 tablespoons ginger ½ teaspoon turmeric 2 tablespoons madras curry powder 1 tablespoon gram flour 3 tablespoons curd ¼ cup carrots ¼ cup mushrooms ¼ cup broccoli 2 cups coconut milk 1 pack of hakka noodles
Chop the onion, garlic, ginger, carrots and mushrooms. Add oil to a pan and heat it
Add bay leaf, black peppercorns and cumin seeds. Add chopped onions and green chillies. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add turmeric and Madras curry powder. Now add gram flour and curd. Add carrot, mushroom and broccoli.
Add salt as per taste. Add one cup of water and mix well. Cook slightly and then add coconut milk.
Cook until it starts boiling. Turn off the flame and serve with noodles.
