Paneer can be cooked into curries, biryanis, pulaos, snacks, kebabs and more. Paneer is one such food item which rarely has any haters. A vegetarian dish like Paneer 65 has a proper follower. It’s spicy, tangy and tastes yummy with paratha, rice or roti. This Paneer 65 recipe will make you a chef in your own home!
200 - 300 grams of paneer 2 and ½ spoons of all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons of corn starch powder 1 spoon of rice flour 1 and ½ teaspoons of ginger, finely chopped ½ teaspoon of chaat masala powder ¼ teaspoon of garam masala A teaspoon of red chilli powder 1 onion, medium sized and finely sliced Curry leaves 2 tablespoons of curd Salt and sugar to taste
Add the all-purpose flour, corn starch, ginger, garlic, chaat masala, garam masala, rice flour, red chilli powder, salt and sugar. Put the paneer cubes into the mixture.
Add water to the mixture to form a thick paste. Let the paneer cubes soak until entirely coated in the paste. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep-fry the paneer pieces.
Set the fried paneer pieces aside. Let it cool down and drain the oil out.
In another pan, heat some more oil, add the sliced onions and chilis and saute until onions translucent.
Next, pour curd, red chilli powder and salt. Mix and stir until orange-ish. Add fried paneer cubes to the pan. Stir it and let it cook on a medium flame.
Switch off the heat, garnish and serve hot with rice or chapati.
