Ask any doctor, and they will suggest using any seasonal ingredient to its full potential. Therefore, if you have not made palak vadas yet, it’s time to amp up your snacking game by pairing them with masala chai.
½ tsp ajwain, black pepper 5-6 green chillies 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp cumin, fennel seeds 1 tsp mango powder, coriander Oil for frying 1 bunch of palak 7-8 garlic cloves 1-inch ginger Salt to taste 1 tsp kasuri methi 1 cup gram flour 1 tbsp hot oil ¼ tsp hing, turmeric ½ cup chopped onion
Wash palak thoroughly, chop the leaves, and keep them aside.
Take a deep bowl, and combine ingredients with gram flour.
Once spices are mixed, add chopped palak to the mix.
Keep the batter aside and heat the oil in a kadhai.
Drop palak vadas in hot oil and cook on both sides.
Enjoy these vadas with masala chai.
