After long work hours, it’s only natural to want quick meals. For a healthy, protein-rich option, make egg biryani. Ready in under 20 minutes, try this recipe, pair the egg biryani with raita, and enjoy.
1 cup rice 6 eggs 1 onion 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 2 green chillies 1/2 cup curd 1/4 cup mint leaves 1/4 cup coriander leaves 2 tablespoons biryani masala 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste 3 tablespoons ghee 1/4 cup water
Hard-boil the eggs, peel, and marinate them in a mix of curd and spices.
Rinse and soak the rice for about 30 minutes. Drain the water and set aside.
Heat some ghee in a pot and saute sliced onion. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies.
Mix in all the spices, marinated eggs, curd, soaked rice, mint leaves, and coriander leaves.
Pour the water, cover the pot and cook on low heat till the rice is cooked.
Once done, fluff the biryani with a fork and serve with raita and chutney.
