Palak, aka spinach, the green leafy vegetable, is high in iron and fibre. To quickly add it to your meals, you can make a soft palak paratha for breakfast, top it with butter and enjoy it with an achaar.
1 cup whole wheat flour 1/4 cup chopped palak 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 cup water Oil for cooking
Knead the dough with atta, palak, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and water.
Take small portions of the dough and shape them into balls. Let them rest.
Roll each ball into a thin circle. Heat a tawa, drizzle some oil and cook the paratha.
Keep brushing with oil and flipping till the paratha is cooked on both sides.
Serve with dahi and your favourite achaar or chutney.
