The summer season gives the country the best fruit – mango. To make a North Indian sabzi with mangoes, try this chatpati aam ki sabzi. Follow this recipe and make a heary meal with mangoes.
1 raw mango 1/2 cup jaggery 1 tablespoon oil 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 pinch asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder Salt to taste 1 cup water Coriander leaves for garnish
Peel and finely grate the raw mango.
Heat some oil and let mustard seeds and cumin seeds splutter.
Add hing, turmeric, red chilli powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
Mix in grated mango and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add jaggery, salt, and water.
Let the sabzi simmer till the mango softens. Garnish with coriander and serve.
