Imagine replacing the traditional aloo-based filling in a samosa with your favourite Chinese dish - noodles? To make the fusion snack at home, here is an easy recipe you must try to impress your guests.
2 cups cooked noodles 1 tbsp oil 1 onion, chopped 1 green chilli, chopped 1/2 cup chopped vegetables Salt to taste 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp coriander powder 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp caraway seeds Water Oil for frying
Saute onion and chillies till soft. Add chopped vegetables like carrot, cabbage, capsicum and cook.
Stir in prepared or leftover noodles and cook for another minute.
Knead a dough with flour, water, oil, caraway seeds, and salt. Let it rest for half an hour.
Roll the dough, cut it into half circles, add a spoonful of noodle filling, and seal it in a conical shape.
Deep fry till golden brown. Serve with imli chutney.
