Make Lotus Stem Chips And Enjoy Guilt-Free Snacking

Lotus stem chips are another crunchy snack that you can have without guilt. Instead of deep-frying, you can just air fry them, and make your feasting during fasting successful and indulgent. Check out the recipe.

Ingredients

1 large lotus stem ½ tsp salt ½ tsp chilli powder 1 lemon zest 1 tbsp vegetable oil ½ tsp chilli flakes 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp butter

Step 1

Thinly slice the lotus stems and wash them in a bowl with clean water.

Step 2

Toss the slices with salt, oil, chilli powder, and chilli flakes.

Step 3

When you are not fasting, you can add onion and garlic powder too.

Step 4

You can air-fry the chips at 180°C for 12-15 minutes.

Step 5

Once they are crispy, drizzle butter, and top them with coriander leaves.
