Amla chutney is a tangy, spicy, and healthy condiment packed with vitamin C, antioxidants and aids digestion. It pairs perfectly with rice, roti, or as a dip for snacks.
4-5 amla (Indian gooseberries) 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1-2 green chillies 1 tsp cumin seeds ½ inch chopped ginger 1 tsp jaggery (optional, for mild sweetness) Salt to taste Water as needed
Wash 4-5 amlas, steam or boil them for 5-6 minutes, then remove seeds and chop roughly.
In a blender, add amla, coriander leaves, green chillies, cumin seeds, ginger, jaggery, and salt.
Blend into a smooth paste using a little water to adjust consistency.
Transfer to a bowl and serve fresh.
