The ritual of making gujiyas with the family and sharing them with loved ones is an integral part of Holi celebrations. But you can also make it any time of the day, if you have a sweet tooth.
300-500 grams of khoya 2 cups of flour ½ cup of chopped dry fruits 25 grams of dried coconut Ghee as required Powdered sugar as needed ½ teaspoon of green cardamom ½ teaspoon of salt Oil for cooking Milk as needed
Add spoons of oil and flour to the bowl. Make a tight dough. Rest the dough for 30 minutes.
For stuffing, mix milk, coconut, sugar powder, chopped dry fruits of your choice and cardamom powder.
Mix it well. Set it aside. Stuffing is ready.
Now knead the dough again. Flatten it. Apply water to all the sides.
Fill the stuffing into the middle of the flattened dough and fold it.
Make a design with a fork on the ends. Now fry them on a low flame till they turn golden brown, and make them ready to serve.
