Paneer parathas are soft, flavourful flatbreads stuffed with spiced paneer, offering a delightful combination of taste and nutrition. A popular Indian breakfast or meal, it is best enjoyed hot with yoghurt, pickle, or chutney.
2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 tsp salt Water, as needed 1 cup grated paneer 1 green chilli 1/2 tsp grated ginger 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 1/4 tsp garam masala 1/4 tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves Salt Ghee or oil
Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
In a bowl, combine grated paneer, green chili, ginger, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well.
Divide the dough and filling into equal portions. Roll out a dough ball into a small circle. Place a portion of the paneer filling in the center, gather the edges, and seal.
Gently roll the stuffed dough into a paratha, being careful not to tear it.
Heat a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides, applying ghee or oil, until golden and crispy.
