Make Crispy Bread Pakora For The Perfect Weekend Snack

A hot and crunchy bread pakora paired with a cup of chai is just what a winter evening requires. For a quick weekend snack option, you can deep-fry or air-fry bread pakora and serve it with a chutney.

Ingredients

6 slices of bread 1 cup besan 1/4 cup rice flour 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon soda bicarbonate 1/2 cup water Oil for frying

Step 1

Mix besan, rice flour, water, and all the spices to get a smooth and thick batter.

Step 2

Cut the bread slices into triangles and dip each piece in the batter.

Step 3

Once well-coated, heat some oil in a kadhai and deep fry till the pakora is crispy.

Step 4

Drain extra oil and serve with your favourite chutney.
