Cravings for a crunchy snack in the evening are real. If you grab a packet of namkeen to pair with your tea, here is a healthier option. Make crispy beetroot tikkis in your air fryer, minimise the oil, and enjoy.
2 beetroots 1/2 cup peas 1 onion 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon jeera 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tablespoon besan Oil for frying
Boil beetroots and peas. Mash them together.
Chop onion, green chilli and ginger and mix with mashed vegetables.
Mix in besan, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into tikkis.
Preheat your air fryer, then air-fry the beetroot tikkis until crispy. Serve hot with chutney.
