Make Creamy, Soft, Frosted Vanilla Cupcakes For An Instant Sugar High

Dessert is something that all of us crave since it warms the heart rather than the stomach. A bite into a moist vanilla cupcake with our preferred frosting can brighten or improve a day. Everyone enjoys these cute, tiny mini-cakes as a snack.

Ingredients

1 cup of all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon of baking powder ½ cup of butter 1 cup of sugar 2 eggs Vanilla extract, as needed ½ cup of milk 2 cups of powdered sugar Salt as needed

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. Divide batter evenly among the cupcake liners and bake for 18-20 minutes.

Step 5

Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.

Step 6

Make the frosting by beating butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.

Step 7

Once smooth, frost the cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired.
