If you like to have something sweet after your meals, you can whip up almond cake and enjoy it without any guilt. Made with almond flour, here’s a gluten-free recipe that is sure to please your sweet tooth.
2 cups almond flour 4 large eggs ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon ⅔ cup honey ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil 1.5 teaspoons grated lemon zest
Preheat the oven. Whisk the almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs, honey, olive oil, and lemon zest.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and mix till you get a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake the cake for about an hour.
Let it cool down, and then garnish with whipped cream or lemon zest before serving.
