No one in the world isn't a fan of soups. Soups can be made with anything that you love. If you love mushrooms, a creamy bowl of mushroom soup in the middle of the week sounds like a reward, right? Here is the recipe!
3 cups water 4-5 peppercorns 1-3 Bay leaves 1 carrot, chopped 1 celery, diced 1 onion, chopped Half a garlic Mushroom stems A dollop of butter Garlic cloves, crushed 1 tsp chilli flakes Mushrooms, chopped Salt and pepper to taste Basil leaves 2 tbsp flour ½ cup milk Grated cheese Parsley sprigs Cream, as needed
In a pan, add water, peppercorn and tear in the bay leaves. Add the carrots to the stock.
Add the celery and roughly chopped onions. Take the bulb of garlic and cut it in half. Add to the stock. Add salt to taste
Add mushroom stems to the stock. Boil and put it on a simmer for about 20 minutes. Strain the stock in a bowl. Pour back into the pan.
In a pan, add butter, garlic cloves, chilli flakes and saute them till translucent. Add mushrooms, ground pepper and tear in the basil leaves.
Sprinkle the flour over them. Stir. Add milk to the stock and give it a nice stir, and then let it cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Add cream to the soup, and then start blending everything.
Also, add a parsley sprig on the top and serve hot!
