Maharashtrian thecha is a spicy condiment served with meals, but it is more than that. Celebrity chefs and experimenting home cooks have shown how you can use it to marinate paneer and meat. Check out the recipe.
2 tsp oil 150 g green chillies 1 tsp salt ½ cup raw peanuts 1 tsp cumin seeds ¼ cup peeled garlic
Remove the stalks of chillies and dry roast them.
Keep chillies aside and dry roast peanuts, cumin seeds, and garlic.
You can pound the ingredients using a mortar and pestle.
You can also grind in a processor. Keep the granulated texture.
Keep the thecha in an airtight container and enjoy.
