Want to try something delicious as well as nutritious? Then make thalipeeth, a traditional dish of Maharashtra. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 green chilli, chopped 1 onion, chopped ½ cup cilantro, chopped 2 teaspoons sesame seeds 1 cup bhajani flour Salt as needed
Mix a cup of bhajani flour with onions, chillis, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder. Give it a mix.
Add in the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, cilantro and water.
Knead the dough. Divide the dough into small balls. Pat each dough ball into a circle.
Heat oil in a pan. Place one disc on the pan.
Allow the thalipeeth to cook until the side turns golden brown.
Flip over. Cook on both sides. Remove from heat. Serve with butter, curd and pickle.
