Poha is a filling snack or breakfast dish. While there are different ways to prepare it, the Maharashtrian variant rules all. Here is the recipe you should try out.
1/4 cup peanuts 1.5 cups poha ¼ tsp cumin, turmeric 4-5 curry leaves ¾ tsp mustard seeds Salt to taste 2 tbsp oil ⅓ tsp hing ¾ cup sliced onion 1 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp coriander leaves 1 slit green chilli
Heat oil and let cumin seeds and mustard seeds crackle.
Add turmeric powder, green slit chilli, and curry leaves.
Sauté sliced onions and peanuts. Sprinkle hing.
Add soaked poha and fluff it up along with salt.
Toss it until everything turns yellow and cook with a lid on.
Finish it with lemon juice and coriander leaves.
