A magic bar is a delicious layered concoction of chocolate chips, coconut, condensed milk, nuts, and butterscotch chips, all baked in a Graham cracker crust. Here’s the recipe to follow to try this at home.
2 cups of Graham cracker crumbs ½ cup melted butter ½ cup condensed milk 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup butterscotch chips 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup shredded coconut ½ tsp sea salt
Take a large mixing bowl. Add the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, and toss until the crumbs are moist.
Transfer the crumbs to a baking pan. Press the crumbs well with fingers to form a uniform base layer.
Layer condensed milk over the graham cracker crust, then top with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pecans, and sweetened coconut.
Gently set the ingredients by hand so they remain bonded.
Bake the layers at 180°C for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges of the bars turn golden brown.
Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle some sea salt on the magic bar. Refrigerate them for a few hours.
Add a drizzle of chocolate on top before slice the magic bar using a clean, warm knife.
