Cheeseballs are definitely on the snack-time menu at home because anything with cheese tastes the finest. Cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and basic seasonings can be used to make this traditional cheeseball. Scallions and minced bell pepper are mix-ins that provide the perfect texture and flavour. For easy snacking or holiday get-togethers, you can also prepare it and store it in the refrigerator for up to a week.
2 whole blocks of cream cheese 250 grams of grated cheese ½ cup of green bell peppers, chopped 4 onions, chopped 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice 1 teaspoon of garlic powder 1 cup of pecans, chopped A full pack of crackers and chips
In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, grated cheese, garlic powder and mix.
Add the lime juice and bell pepper to the mixture. Use a fork to mix it well.
On a smooth surface or chopping board, spread the pecan evenly.
Divide the mixture into two halves. Roll one section into small balls.
Place the cheeseball mixture onto the pecans. Wrap the pecan around the cheeseball mixture.
Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Heat the cheeseballs for 2 mins in the microwave before serving.
