Do you not enjoy lauki or find it boring? This lauki chilla is for you. It is a quick and hydrating breakfast option that you must try once, because you will surely be coming for seconds. Follow this guide to replicate it at home.
1 cup besan ¾ cup bottle gourd ¼ tsp hing ¼ cup dahi 1 tbsp oil for greasing Salt to taste ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 3 tsp oil for cooking
Grate lauki in a bowl and keep it aside for a while.
When it releases water, add besan and other spices to it.
Mix the ingredients. Pour water in it to adjust the consistency.
Spread the batter on a hot griddle and grease the edges with oil.
When the base is cooked, flip the chilla to cook the other side.
Serve lauki chilla with ketchup, green chutney, or sauce of your choice.
