North Indian food is incomplete without a dry sabzi complementing the dal and rice combo. Kurkuri bhindi is a popular choice in many households, and it is super easy to cook at home. Check out this recipe.
1 tsp chilli powder 500g bhindi ½ cup besan flour 1 tsp coriander powder Salt to taste ½ tsp turmeric 1 tsp garam masala, cumin 1 tsp chaat masala 10 tbsp oil 1 tsp amchur powder
Wash okra nicely under running water and try it off. Trip the tip and the base.
Slice the bhindi into four vertical pieces and sprinkle spices over it.
Season it with salt, and it will turn slimy. Sprinkle besan and coat it nicely.
To the heated oil, add the okra and cook it for 20-30 minutes.
Sprinkle the leftover spices on bhindi and cook until it is crispy.
Serve the bhindi with paratha and raita or as a part of a thali.
