Kurkuri bhindi is a crunchy, spiced okra dish made by frying thinly sliced bhindi with spices. It’s crispy, tangy, and can be served as a snack or side sabzi with dal and rice.
250 g bhindi (okra) 3 tbsp gram flour 1 tbsp rice flour ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp cumin powder ½ tsp chaat masala Salt to taste Oil for frying
Wash bhindi, pat completely dry, and cut into thin vertical strips.
In a bowl, mix gram flour, rice flour, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt, and chaat masala.
Toss the sliced bhindi in the spice mixture until evenly coated.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the bhindi in small batches on medium flame.
Drain on paper towels, sprinkle a little extra chaat masala, and serve immediately.
