Kurkuri Bhindi: Crispy, Spicy Okra You Can Make In Minutes

Kurkuri bhindi is a crispy okra snack that goes perfectly with a simple dal-chawal meal. Made with just a handful of ingredients like gram flour, spices, and lemon juice, this crunchy side dish is quick to prepare and full of flavour.

Ingredients

½ cup oil 2 cups ladyfingers 2 tbsp besan 2 tsp chaat masala 1 tsp chilli powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp lemon juice Salt to taste

Step 1

Wash and pat dry the bhindi. Slice them thin lengthwise so they crisp up well.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix bhindi with besan, turmeric, chilli powder, chaat masala, lemon juice, and salt.

Step 3

Heat oil and fry the bhindi in small batches till golden and crisp. Serve hot with dal-chawal.
