Korean Street Food and a flavourful garlic-seasoned potato recipe where potato dough is shaped like a mushroom. Here is how to make this dish:
3 potatoes 1/2 cup cornflour 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp garlic minced 2 onions salt as per taste 1 tbsp hot and sweet tomato sauce 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp red chilli sauce 1 tsp vinegar 1 tbsp red chilli powder 3 tbsp oil 1 tbsp honey/powdered sugar 2 green chillies minced Chopped coriander
Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes. Boil them with 1 tsp salt till cooked yet firm.
Once boiled with a fork, make a fine mash.
Add cornflour, baking powder and a little water to get a smooth dough.
Divide the dough into small balls.
Take a bottle to shape them like mushrooms.
Boil water with 1 tsp salt and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
Mix red chilli powder, soy, red chilli, hot and sweet tomato sauce, honey or powdered sugar and vinegar.
Toss all and set aside. Heat oil in a pan and add mined garlic.
Add finely chopped green chillies and onion and saute till translucent.
Pour the tadka into the seasoned potato mushroom bowl and mix it well. And serve it.
