Korean chilli oil is the new staple on Indian dining tables. A few drops of it, and your dish instantly looks gourmet and fancy. The little red drops of oil and small chilli flakes take the flavour profile up a notch. Here is how you make it.
Salt to taste 2-3 Gochugaru 1 tbsp sesame seeds 2 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp sugar 1 cup vegetable oil ½ tsp five spice powder 2 tsp Szechuan pepper
Add oil to a pan and let it heat up.
Take a bowl, mix all other ingredients.
Check the oil using a wooden spoon; it should make bubbles.
Turn off the flame and pour the oil over the ingredients after 2-3 minutes.
Stir the ingredients and leave the blend to come to room temperature.
Put on the lid and refrigerate it. You can use it in noodles, wraps, etc.
