Jhalmuri hits fast, mustard oil sharpness, green chilli heat, and that unmistakable street-style crunch. It’s messy, loud, and addictive, the kind of snack where every bite tastes slightly different and somehow better.
2 cups puffed rice 1 small finely chopped onion 1 small chopped tomato 2 tbsp roasted peanuts 1 tbsp mustard oil 1 tbsp green chutney 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp chaat masala Salt to taste 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp lemon juice
Take puffed rice in a large mixing bowl.
Add onion, tomato, peanuts, and coriander.
Pour mustard oil and green chutney over the mixture.
Add spices, salt, and lemon juice, then mix quickly.
Serve immediately before it loses crunch.
