Khoya mithai is everyone’s favourite, loved by kids, adults, and even offered to gods. It has a soft texture and melts in the mouth. If you also like it, follow this guide to make it at home and enjoy the dessert.
Ghee for greasing 2.5 cups mawa 1 tsp rose essence ¾ cup sugar 2 tbsp nuts ⅛ tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp milk powder
Grease an aluminium foil and set it on a tray.
Mix khoya, at room temperature, with sugar, cardamom powder, and rose water.
Cook khoya with other ingredients on a low flame.
When the ingredients blend nicely, switch off the flame.
Spread this blend on the tray and when it cools off a little, cut it with a pizza cutter or knife.
Refrigerate the mithai and enjoy it once it hardens a bit.
