Kashmiri rajma is one of the regional recipes that everyone swears by. It is easy to make, and you don’t want to miss the chance to bring Kashmir home. Here is the recipe.
For Boiling Rajma 2 black cardamom 2 cups rajma Salt to taste 2 bay leaves 1 tsp methi dana 1/2 tsp hing 4 cloves
For Rajma 1 tbsp ginger, garlic paste 1/3 cup mustard oil 2 cups tomato puree 1 cup dahi, onion 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp saunf 1/2 tsp turmeric
Soak rajma overnight and boil it with the ingredients mentioned in the list.
Heat oil in a pan and let shahi jeera crackle in it. Saute onions and ginger-garlic paste.
Add tomato puree and wait until the base releases the oil.
Mix powdered spices in curd and pour everything into the pan.
Add boiled rajma and let the ingredients simmer for a while.
Garnish the rajma with coriander leaves and serve with rice.
