Karela chips? Nobody thinks that a vegetable like bitter gourd can be transformed into a delightful crunchy snack. It is nutritious, flavourful, and goes well with the evening tea or coffee. Check out the recipe.
2 tbsp salt 2 bitter gourds 1 tsp turmeric powder ½ cup gram flour 1 tbsp chilli powder ½ cup rice flour 2 tsp amchur powder 3 tbsp water A pinch of salt Oil for deep frying 1 tsp garam masala powder
Slice the bitter gourds and wash them in a colander. Soak them in a solution of water, salt, and turmeric powder.
Drain the excess water and wash the slices with cold water.
Toss bitter gourd slices with the remaining spices. Add a tablespoon of oil to make sure spices stick to the surface.
Deep-fry the slices until they are crispy and golden brown.
You can also bake bitter gourd slices in the oven or air fryer until they are crispy.
