Kabuli chana is a protein-rich ingredient that can be a part of the sattvik diet, especially during Navratri. You can enjoy it without onion and garlic, spread on toast, or stuff a wrap with its spiced blend. Read the recipe.
2 cups boiled chana Salt, water as needed ½ tsp turmeric, cumin ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp garam masala ¼ tsp saunf 1 tbsp oil 1 tbsp coriander leaves 2 tomatoes 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 slit green chilli
Heat oil or butter and add slit green chilli, cumin seeds, and turmeric powder.
Once seeds start crackling, add chopped tomatoes along with powdered spices.
Cook until the tomatoes are mushy and the oil separates.
Add boiled kabuli chana, salt, and water. Cook the ingredients on a low flame until the first boil.
Simmer chana for a few minutes or until the gravy is thick.
