Usually made with rice and dal, dosa can be given a gluten-free makeover with jowar flour. If you are following a millet-forward diet, here’s how to make jowar dosa and enjoy it with sambar and chutney.
1.5 cups jowar flour 4 cups water 1 onion 2 green chillies 2 tablespoons coriander - Curry leaves as per preference Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Make a fresh batter with jowar flour and water.
Add finely chopped onion, coriander, green chillies, curry leaves, and salt.
Mix all the ingredients together and ensure there are no lumps. Let it rest.
Heat up a pan, pour some oil and cook a spoonful of dosa batter till it’s crisp.
Serve the jowar dosa with sambar or chutney.
