Jowar dosa is an excellent way to transition to a millet-forward diet. Instead of making the traditional urad dal and rice-based dosa, make a batter with jowar flour. Serve the crispy jowar dosa with sambar.
1.5 cups jowar flour 4 cups water 1 onion 2 green chillies 2 tablespoons coriander - Curry leaves, as per preference Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Make a fresh batter with jowar flour and water.
Add finely chopped onion, coriander, green chillies, curry leaves, and salt.
Mix all the ingredients together and ensure there are no lumps. Let it rest.
Heat up a pan, pour some oil and cook a spoonful of dosa batter till it’s crisp.
Serve the jowar dosa with sambar and nariyal chutney.
